Water has always been absorbing our very existence. We were born into it, and we live by its side almost unaware of its indispensable presence.
Life and death cross over each other through water. It’s the fatal mirror causing Narcissus’ death due to his vanity and the spasmodic search for an elusive fulfilment of his own ego
This project has water as its main subject, liquid from which androgynous creatures spring out as statues of a lost city from the future.
Their wet dresses are made of spectacular plastic forms resembling the sinuous folds of marmoreal tissues.
As soon as they come out from the water they stand still, on the bank, thinking nostalgically of Ophelia, in a search for inspiration, and all around them light creates golden nuances and gives a decadent impression to the pictures. And it reminds us of golden dust floating on the water.
